Lizzie Melvin

Lizzie Melvin

Lizzie has been around photography since childhood. Lizzie's mother was a professional photographer all her life - so you could say that it is in the blood. Lizzie has a real passion for capturing memories, playing with colours, creating effects and composing a picture that will give pleasure to others. Lizzie adores doing the weddings and portraiture that she does professionally alongside her work for Cancer Research UK. However she can get equally enthused over buildings, landscapes and even rusty railings!

Open that camera box and you'll soon be hooked on the most rewarding, exciting, testing and sometimes exasperating, hobby that can give a lifetime of pleasure.

Ian Prince

Ian Prince

Ian first picked up a camera pre-school at the age of about 3 or 4 but without any film in!  When he was allowed film, a couple of years later, his inquisitiveness led to him searching in the back of the camera after a day out, looking for the pictures; in film days that was a salutary lesson! Ian then progressed to a Kodak instamatic then via a variety of other cameras to a Fuji SLR. Ian became secretary at the school photographic society and had his first editorial photographs published soon afterwards.

Over the years Ian has had numerous photographs published in the national magazine press and carry out commissions for a wide variety of organisations including various bands and music producers, as well as enjoying wedding photography. He has been heavily involved in providing advice to photographic web forums and is the honorary webmaster for my local photographic club. Ian has used most brands of camera over the years, including quite a number of years at medium format with a Bronica, but my current passion is with Nikon, the marque that he has used in various forms for the past 19 years.
