Terms and Conditions
A non refundable course fee is payable at the time of booking for each course, however if you wish to transfer to another course date, this will incur the following administration charges;-
- 5 days prior to the weekend of the course – 25% of the course fee
- 2 days prior to the weekend of the course – 50% of the course fee
Confirmation will be emailed once payment has been accepted.
If due to unforeseen circumstances we are forced to cancel a course we will offer you the choice of an available place on any of our future courses or a full refund. Our liability will cease thereafter.
We reserve the right to alter or cancel any course. Should this happen, you will have the right to book an alternative course or to accept a full refund.
We reserve the right to change any of the prices or particulars contained in our courses before we enter into a contract with you. If there is any change, we shall notify you before entering into any contract.
If you have mobility problems and need to use either walking aids or a wheelchair, we do need you to tell us this at the time of booking. This makes it much easier to accommodate your requirements and on our practical event. This is for your own health and safety, as at certain times of year or after high rainfall there may be issues for those who are not so sure footed.
We try to make our events as accessible as possible for people of all mobility levels. At our training centres in London and Birmingham we have full disabled access. However we work at a wide number of locations around the country which vary immensely in their accessibility.
Jessops Training Academy has public liability insurance and fire certificate.
Jessops Training Academy does not accept responsibility or liability for death, bodily injury or illness caused to the client or any other person included on the booking form, unless proven to arise from negligence on the part of the Company. Any claims shall, be subject to English law in respect of any question of liability; all proceedings shall be within the exclusive domain of the English courts.
Fees include – Tuition, course material, morning and afternoon refreshments.
Any perceived failure of the course or workshop to must be reported whilst on the course, thus giving the company the opportunity of achieving a satisfactory solution. Should this not be possible for any reason, your complaint must be made in writing to us within 28 days after the finish date of the course.
It is advisable that you have adequate insurance for your own photographic equipment. During our workshops your equipment may be subject to the elements or accidental dame. We are not responsible for any damage incurred to your photographic equipment or belongings whilst participating on one of the courses.
We will contact you by email where possible and otherwise by email with promotional offers and upcoming course dates and information.
Payment of course fees constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. In the case of a payment for more than one person, the person paying is responsible for informing their group of these terms and conditions and obtaining consent, before making payment.
